This site is dedicated to the memory of Stas.
Stan "Stas" was born in St. Louis on June 24, 1956 to Bernard and Dolores Pestka. He passed on December 9, 2012, lovingly surrounded by his family. He is loved by many, and will be missed dearly.
In Stas' honor, in leiu of flowers, we would like to invite his friends to make a donation to the Allison N Pestka Special Needs Trust dated June 29, 2011 c/o Lake Forest Bank and Trust, 103 E Scranton Ave. Lake Bluff, IL 60044.

Stanley was a friend of mine in high school. I have not seen him since 1984. I enjoyed the photo gallery. It brought back a lot of fond memories. He had a great and funny personality, and the most beautiful smile. I know he is missed by so many, but he will never be forgotten. God bless him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Stas' family. We hope you find peace and comfort that he is drowning worms in the best fishing hole he has ever experienced. My life and the lives of each of my family members has been enriched through knowing Stas---especially my two sons that got the benefit of experiencing Stas' love for the game of baseball.
